RANI PARGAONKER, B.A.M.S.

Dr. Rani Pargaonker is a physician with over 30 years experience in the ancient Indian healing science of Ayurveda. Dr. Rani holds a Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.) degree as well as postgraduate degrees in Ayurvedic Pharmacy & the healing therapies of Panchakarma. In 1997 she began the Rani Holistic Health Centers in Merrillville, Indiana to offer a novel & holistic approach to health care. Since that time she has opened offices in Chicago, IL. & Michigan City, IN.

The Ayurvedic approach to health encompasses body, mind & spirit & emphasizes prevention, preservation as well as curation. So, Dr. Rani focuses on individual approaches to health, not on one-size fits all methods of health care. Some of her recent programs have been organized for the Lake County Courts, The City of Chicago, The University of Illinois & Edgewater Health Centers in Gary, IN. She continues her commitment to education by giving lectures at universities including IUN, Purdue & The University of Illinois.
Makrand U. Pargaonker, M.D.

Dr. M. U. Pargaonker is an allopathic internist with over 45 years of experience in the practice of medicine. He has worked in the Northwest Indiana area for almost 30 years. His medical education was completed in India with extensive training both in the United States & in England including becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). He is currently practicing in Merrillville & Griffith Indiana. Dr. M. Pargaonker also lectures extensively on stress-reduction, stress-management & spirituality to improve quality of life.

Nikhil M. Pargaonker, M.D.

Dr. Nikhil Pargaonker is currently completing allopathic internal medicine residency in Ohio as well as being actively involved in Ayurvedic research & education at the Rani Holistic Health Centers. He has also had training in Ayurvedic medicine & pharmacy & is currently working towards a PhD in Ayurveda with a concentration in Endocrinology & Diabetes. Having worked, volunteered & being educated in the health professions for over 10 years at institutions from indigent clinics, trauma & emergency rooms to tertiary-care facilities he is familiar with a variety of patients & problems.
